I love receiving my monthly Julep Maven box ($19.99/month for 2 full size polishes worth $14 each and a full size lotion, remover, etc.)! When I initially opened this month’s nail polish selections I admit to being mildly disappointed – until I swatched the two colors in instantly fell in love!
My ‘Boho Glam’ selection fer November features two colors: Amber and Nora. Both of these are in Julep’s Matte Suede Finish. I think this textured finish is what makes these two colors really stand out. If they were glossy or shiny I doubt they’d hold my interest – they wouldn’t stand out as much to me.
Amber is golden brown that truly resembles suede! I swear I have a pair of shoes somewhere in my closet in almost this exact same color!
Nora is a difficult color for me to describe. It’s a combination of plum and wine that is the perfect shade for Fall.

My Julep Maven box also included a 4oz. jar of Pink Grapefruit Body Frosting (Hubby was disappointed to learn it wasn’t edible 
) and several packages of polish remover pads.

Hello, did you have any problems with your Julep matte suedes? I have applied mine twice now. I go to bed with a beautiful mani, only to wake up and have them chipping away by mid morning. I used a base coat and the matte top coat.
