The renamed ‘Bared to You’ sequel, ‘Reflected in You’, will be released October 2, 2012.

There’s been a change in the much anticipated sequel to Sylvia Day’s phenomenon Bared to You.  The second book in the Crossfire Series is now to be called Reflected in You rather than the previously reported Deeper into You.  A much better choice in my opinion – a little less ‘suggestive’, if you know what I mean.

Sylvia Day has also treated fans to an ‘unofficial snippet’ from Reflected in You on her Facebook page – if you want the latest on Bared to You and Reflected in You, I urge you to check out her page.

“I am lucky.” Gideon brushed loose strands of my hair away from my temples, his own luxuriant hair falling around that perfect face. “And maybe, if I’m really lucky, you’ll feel better tomorrow and like me again.”

Ah, God. My heart ached in my chest. “I like you now, Gideon. I just don’t like you keeping secrets. It’s going to break us up.”

“Don’t let it,” he murmured, tracing my brows with his fingertip. “Trust me.”

“You have to trust me back.”

Folding over me, he pressed his lips softly to mine. “Don’t you know, angel?” he breathed. “There’s no one I trust more.”

Reflected in You will be released this October and is available for pre-order at booksellers everywhere.

bared to you is the biggest rip off of Fifty Shades! The language is the same, the mens initials are the same just the other way round, both have similar backgrounds. Not a great book at all. Hopefully the sequel will be better and more Sylvia Day than EL James….

Thats silly.. fifty shades is by no means a original idea…not to mention that the initials etc shouldn’t matter seeing as how 50 was a edward/bella fan fic before it was ever a novel… there are 100’s of storys like 50 on the web and is basically tamed rip off of anne rice’s novels. (exit to eden, sleeping beauty) Bared to you didnt even have bondage and the plots were significantly different. I prefered bared to you and i loved 50 back when it was a fan fic. Both good books.. no one created the market for naughty romance/bondage/hotness.. get over it.

To be fair I suspect it is a little bit of a 50 Shades rip off. HOWEVER, this book is BETTER. The plot is better, and the quality of writing is SOOOO much better. I didn’t like 50 Shades. The writing was terrible. Not to mention considering 50 Shades was an acknowledged Twilight rip off, maybe we shouldn’t be so quick to judge…

Fair point well made……you both are have valid arguments, but lets give credit to both writers, I truly enjoyed both books. I can’t wait for Reflective in you

I read the 50 trilogy and there are pros and cons
Yes there are many similarities with Bared to You and 50 but let’s face it Bared to You is waaay better on so many levels. From the dialogue, to the plot to the intimacy this novel gives it’s readers everything one would enjoy. However I wish the series was complete due to the fact that i hate waiting for what’s to come.

I agree with you on the waiting- i wish it was coming out in December like it was suppose to – cant wait til may!! eheheheh

I read both Bared to you and the 50 series. There are similarities, but both are wonderful books that I would highly recommend! I can’t wait for the sequel to come out!

This book parallels 50 shades very closley. With that being said I do like this one better and I am a HUGE 50 shades fan! Bared to you does have a better story line and is much more intense. I am glad I only have to wait a week and 2 days and you can bet money I will be downloading the book as soon as it is available. I am pleased to see that the Reflected In You is going to be a little longer as I read the first one in just a little over a day 🙂 Sylvia Keep up the great story

I read all Fifty Shades of Grey in a week I was so addicted. I only read Bared to You because my boss said it was just like Fifty Shades but better. That was outright lie. This is a horrible book. How is that now copyright infringement or some sort of plagiarism? Bared to you is badly written and lackluster. The dialogue does not fit the characters, there is no sexual build up before the sex, and there is 0.00001% bondage style sex within the novel. Day calls Fifty Shades a Cinderella type of novel in comparison to hers. This woman has clearly lost her sense as well as her originality.

I don’t believe that Bared to you was in anyway better than 50 shades. My husband and I both read them together and 50 shades was better written, you connected with the characters lot easier and built that bond with them. Bared to you, while still a good read, was a lot like 50 shades, characters were a lot a like with initials, backgrounds, the girls names were so close I kept forgetting which one I was reading about.
However it was still worth the read, and I do look forward to reading the second and third books.

I feel the same way. I enjoyed the characters of 50 Shades much more than I do the characters in Bared to You. While the book is okay, I liked 50 Shades better all around, except maybe the lackluster writing.

I also read Bared to you after reading 50 Shades of Grey. In my opinion Bared to you in no way compares to the greatness of 50 Shades of Grey. I did not fall in love with either Gideon or Eva, there is no story about the interworking of their relationship, it seems to move from hardcore sex to hardcore sex. 50 is so much better but I will say I will read the next book and hope it is better.

There are quite a few similarities bet. the Crossfire series and 50 shades which i hate and love. I read Reflected in You yesterday and I would say it’s better than Bared to You. It’s a good novel.

Reflected in you was not as good as 50 shades. I was waiting for his past to come out and it happened later in the book. The chapters were all the same sex and fighting. The end I did not care for. I hope the next book opens up more concerning his past and there relationship involving more.

I am a massive fan of the 50 shades trilogy and heard bared to you was a good book. I actually enjoyed the book. Although it was the same as 50 shades in some ways the storyline was completely different in others. Much more dark. Yes Gideon was very alike Christian but Ava and Eva where very different. I can not wait to read Reflected in you. I want to learn more about Gideon. I want to learn more about his past. And although the sex scenes are more raw and animal like in Sylvia’s books from Gideon’s and Eva past you expect that. You expect that brutalness.

You girls should read Gabriel’s Inferno and Gabriels’s rapture (in that order) by Sylvian Reynard,…much better than Fifty Shades, and Bared to you and Reflected in you…I totally loved it, SOOOOOO Vanilla, and just awesome!
