From New York Times bestselling author Katy Regnery comes her first duo of paranormal romances!

the most beautiful boy in the world kissed me.
I’ve never been able to forget.
Perhaps it was his jet-black hair,
or the changing copper-color of his eyes,
the intense way he looked at me…
or the fact that he awakened my passion for the first time,
at once otherworldly yet heartbreakingly real.
But after that kiss, I never saw him again.
His name was Jack Beauloup.
Jack, my “Beautiful Wolf.”
Twenty years passed. He has returned. For me.

Jack Beauloup and Darcy Turner share one, perfect kiss in high school before he vanishes from sleepy Carlisle, NH without a trace.
Twenty years later, Darcy, who has never forgotten Jack, is shocked when he suddenly appears as a guest at her cousin's wedding. Their attraction to one another is just as searing as it was in high school, but immediately there are a landslide of questions that need answers. Where did he go? Why did he disappear? And what made him return?
As they find their way back to each other, they will discover that the secrets Jack holds are enough to bind them for life, or rip them apart forever.

IT'S YOU is a two-book paranormal love story. Book #1 ends with a cliffhanger. Book #2 ends with an HEA. Both book will be available within 3 months of each other. These books are sexy and steamy and intended for readers over 18.

Katy Regnery’s work is always magical, but with the publication of It’s You, written as K.P. Kelley, she takes it to a whole new level.

Although not a huge paranormal fan, I am a sucker for a good soulmate story. I’ve found some amazing ones in fanfiction —DON’T JUDGE! The idea of fated love lends itself naturally to the paranormal/fantasy subgenre, so when one of my favorite authors publishes her first paranormal View Spoiler » tale of fated love, it’s a no brainer for me to read. One might even say it’s destiny. 😉

Let me tell you, it’s clear, no matter the genre, Katy Regnery weaves her work with such intelligence and eloquence that the pages melt away as you get lost in her words. Katy always populates her stories interesting and complex characters, It’s You is no exception, with the added bonus of being set in a fascinating world where one Native American tribe’s legends are another’s reality.

Darcy Turner is an adjunct professor of botany at Ivy League Dartmouth College, who, while no shrinking violet [botany humor intended], much perfers the solidute of woods, at home among the moss and trees. There she finds the kind of peace she usually only experiences when she “escaped inside her own head,” what the local Métis people refer to as “soul flight.” When in this state of dreaming without sleep Darcy repeatedly hears him – Jack – whispering “It’s you.” These were the last words her high school crush spoke to Darcy after their first, and only, kiss when she was fifteen. Although Darcy dated and searched for love, no man seemed to compare to the boy who got away — only to return twenty years later as a man on a mission – to love Darcy, and earn her love in return. For Jack believes their innocent kiss bound their souls together forever.

For what is bound cannot be broken.

Jack Beauloup is a full-blooded member of the French-Canadian Roux-ga-roux nation, a Native American tribe thought to be only a legend, a tale of Métis tribal lore. The bloody and supernatural traditions of his people dictate that each member will find the one with they will spiritually, physically, and psychically connected for life. Despite his family’s temporary relocation to New Hampshire, seventeen year old Jack firmly believed when he returned to Canada he would go through the proscribed ceremony — which includes a kiss to test if you’ve found The One. Jack’s fascination with the beautiful (and forbidden) Darcy was just a crush he thought, knowing nothing would come of it. When the moment presented itself Jack could not reject temptation and let himself indulge in their obvious mutual attraction. One kiss, one moment to dream of what could not be. He had no idea of the consequences that one kiss would bring.

I belong to you.

And you belong to me.

I love that the bulk of Darcy and Jack’s story takes place when they are in their mid-thirties. These aren’t teens lost in the fantasy of love. They are adults who have forged lives for themselves away from one another, with friends, family, careers – even the occasional lover. You can’t decide who you fall in love with, who is your one, but Darcy and Jack a given the opportunity to decide whether they willing to live without the that love. Darcy’s reaction to Jack’s history and his situation is completely approriate, I loved that she had the support of her best friend Willow, whose own Métis background makes her more understanding than most.

Jack agrees to give Darcy time, leaving New Hampshire possibily forever. Jack believes in their bond but he will not force Dacry to believe nor is he willing to be seen as a monster unworthy of love. He takes Darcy’s rejection to heart, until a sitation with his family threatens Darcy and he’s forced to bring her further into his world.

Can’t wait for Book 2!!!! Coming mid-January! Wo-hoo!!!

Pre-Order It’s You (Book #2)

The thrilling conclusion of Katy Regnery’s first paranormal romance series!

To some, they’re just words signifying a fairytale ending.

For me, Jack Beauloup, they represent an unyielding desire:

Forever with Darcy Turner, the unexpected love of my life.

A love that has placed her human life in danger.

According to Pack Law, my binding is an abomination that must be severed.

It’s ignited a fiery hatred that I must confront and control.

But what is bound cannot be broken.

I will keep Darcy safe.

Even if it means giving up on my dreams.

Even if it means giving up my life.
